Product Description

This issue is dedicated to England. It is with quintessentially British brand Burberry and creative director Christopher Bailey that Cabana Magazine rediscovered Henry Moore, his art and his ability to master volumes. They trace back to his time in Florence, when he was working on his famous exhibition at Forte Belvedere. They visited Florence to try to find what inspired him most, through the “roving” eye of Fiona Corsini, now a trusted contributing editor to this magazine with her photos and watercolors. Cabana takes you on an English grand tour, starting in London at the Soane Museum, seen through the eyes of Ashley Hicks, and continuing in a country house in the Cotswolds, focusing on its mesmerizing well-groomed garden and timeless interiors. Moving up north, a recent Instagram acquaintance, Mark Cropper (@papermaker), takes us to discover the region of Cumbria, one of the most sparsely populated areas in the country. Finally, it’s off to Chatsworth, one of England’s “unsurpassed treasures” (says Patrick Kinmonth), home of the Duke of Devonshire: grand, magnificent and unique in both its architectural and its family history, not to mention its endless collections of objects, plants and art masterpieces.
