Since graduating in interior architecture and design at the École Camondo, in 2012, French-Israeli Emmanuelle Simon has devoted herself to both disciplines, starting her career off at some renowned agencies and then joining the team of Pierre Yovanovitch. During these formative years, she worked on prestigious projects all around the world, building up her skills in designing and decorating both residential and commercial spaces. In 2017, Emmanuelle launched her own agency, establishing her unique style.
Emmanuelle visualises her projects as a whole, from the architectural elements down to every single piece of furniture and objects, which she designs with the utmost attention to detail. Each project stands out for its strong identity and its unique style, each well-appointed space conceived as an invitation to an immersive experience. Tapping into the Art Deco influences paired with a touch of Wabi-Sabi philosophy, Emmanuelle’s aesthetic is raw yet sophisticated, and always imbued with a feel of timeless elegance. Favouring neutral, pleasing colours, Emmanuelle loves to mix solid woods, natural stones, patinated metals and Rakù-Yaki ceramic elements thus creating perfectly harmonious combinations of refinement, gracefulness and serenity.
‘La Chambre sur l’eau’ (the bedroom over the water) an oniric project that won the “Prix du Public” Award at the Design Parade in Toulon, and the raku and assamela wood Jonathan Bookcase to shop on The Invisible Collection. Maison Evidens de Beauté’s first beauty salon in Paris, a haven of pure lines and natural materials that celebrates the Franco-Japanese brand’s core identity, for which Emmanuelle won the Wallpaper* Design Award for ‘Best Calm Spot’.
Recently inducted into the AD 100 List, Emmanuelle is working on an eclectic range of projects including three private apartments in Paris, a hotel in Los Angeles, and a hair beauty capsule to be soon unveiled at prestigious hotels’ spas. A new exciting collaboration with The Invisible Collection to present her most emblematic designs.
