For Federica Tondato, a rug ‘needs to be architecture’. More than decorating a surface, her creations rebuild, open, enlarge and compliment a space.

Muriel Brandolini, was the first fan of her one-off, pieces. With no limit on size for made-to-measure pieces, a 12 meter long rug was created for a private client in London.
Colour and line are unending sources for her sublime nature inspired designs. The scales of a fish, lichen on the trunk of a tree, a shadow falling across a wall, ignite the creative spirit, pattern flows and narratives unfold.
For the graphic poetry of her rugs displayed by the exquisite curves of the embroidery, with it’s endless permutations, in perfect balance with the forms.
