Laura Gonzalez founded her Parisian agency at the age of 24, while still a student at the Ecole nationale supérieure d’architecture Paris-Malaquais; and since then, she’s been making a name for herself in the world of interior design. Renowned for her much sought-after projects, she works for an international clientele both in France and abroad.
A fresh, unexpected mix of genres, artfully mastered from start to finish: Laura Gonzalez knows how to seamlessly blend contrasting materials and prints, tapping into a bottomless well of beautiful influences, without ever sacrificing the harmony and balance of the space. The talented architect loves to create precious, strong and inspiring atmospheres.
Her collection of furniture – night-tables, footstools, armchairs, ceramic sconces, lacquered wood chairs…- is all made in France and Portugal, by working closely with the most skilled local craftsmen. We love her timeless, poetic and graphic objects. Her emblematic furniture found a new home in a vast 19th century mansion in the Vexin region, near Paris. This magic location is her new showroom and home; a place where the objects she gleaned from all over the world over the last decade, merge with her designs. A place to live as well as to work, the Mainneville house is an inviting haven for collectors and design aficionados.
The Invisible Collection has the pleasure of presenting a selection of designs by Laura Gonzalez, available for purchase exclusively through us.
