Victoria Magniant, furniture and lighting designer is a multidisciplinary designer based in Paris who graduated from Central Saint Martin’s School of Art & Design in 2002. In 2015, she was granted simultaneously «le prix découverte» Maison et Objet and «le label VIA», two coveted French design awards.
Token of her personal engagement in social and ecological issues, her research explores the bridges between traditional manufacturing and innovative technologies. She is well-known for attentively pondering culture, craftmanship and ethics before determining which materials she will use for her creations.
After her first collection of furniture called Daiku, she is developing a new collection of small diameter tables named Noïzu, offering the possibility of attributing the calm and soothing corners of one’s apartment. Fascinated by ingenious balance games and invisible assemblies, her creations are islands of poetry. She also developed the Mizu vases in borosilicate glass and marble.
