The design cognoscenti are familiar with the Asymétrie armchair, designed by Pierre Yovanovitch for the AD Interieurs 2013 exhibition in Paris: sculptural and geometric, its unusual aspect is made of different shapes and forms, evoking carved stone, its proportions and lines embodying the French designer’s aesthetic. “Reassuringly chunky and eveloping” writes Bethan Ryder on Elle Décoration.
Extremely complicated to make, the Asymétrie armchair is handmade by the most skilled French artisans at Ateliers Jouffre in Lyon. The upholstering is the trickiest and most delicate part: the upholsterer must place and adjust the fabric time and again until it perfectly sits on each unique curve of the armchair: very haute couture!
The Asymétrie is available in a unique palette of colors, all exclusive to The Invisible Collection. Shop now the iconic Asymétrie, and discover more bespoke designs by Pierre Yovanovitch on The Invisible Collection.
