VOICES 2020, BoF’s flagship annual event, is now live in a purpose-built TV studio beautifully appointed with a selection of our iconic designs.

We are thrilled to announce that we partnered with The Business of Fashion, aka BoF, for their not-to-be-missed VOICES 2020 – a three-day event bringing together the movers, shakers and trailblazers of the global fashion industry and uniting them with the big thinkers, entrepreneurs and inspiring people who are shaping the wider world.

In light of the pandemic restrictions, VOICES will be delivered via a live broadcast in a purpose-built studio in London’s Notting Hill. The current restrictions did not restrain our creative enthusiasm though, as we put together a selection of iconic designs that will enchant the high-profile guests on stage as well as the countless number of viewers around the globe.

Stay tuned to discover our selection of great designs for the great minds that will take the stage: All will be unveiled on 1st December. To find out more about VOICES 2020 and their exciting program you can visit their website: https://events.businessoffashion.com/

Inspired by the key-topics on the agenda, we decided to celebrate the power of fashion by displaying strong, bold designs, and play with a visually graphic colour palette. Moreover, we handpicked some pieces that relate to the fashion world and its history on many different levels.

So, what will Virgil Abloh, Kim Jones, Samira Nasr, Sinéad Burke, Remo Ruffini, Sara Jones, Rachel Shechtman, José Neves, Anya Hindmarch, Dambisa Moyo and Carmen Busquets, to name but a few, will discover and cherish upon entering VOICES’ pop-up studio?

At the entrance we placed a one-of-a-kind counter, the Basket Bar by Mayaro. This is a wonderful, bespoke oddity in rattan and leather finishes, designed by Stefania di Petrillo & Godefroy de Virieu – the latter best known for his collaborations with Hermès Petit H.

The guests lounge is furnished with beautiful marble stools by Charles Zana, a coffee table by Bismut&Bismut studio, a straw marquetry Folding screen by Mayaro, and a couple of striking Théodore armchairs by Humbert & Poyet, the dynamic duo behind the Aquazzura boutique in SoHo.

And now, the stage, where BoF founder and editor-in-chief Imran Amed, will be joined by an impressive list of speakers. We anchored the room with Pierre Paulin’s visionary & iconic Osaka Sofa, for its enduring appeal to in-the-know collectors – including Louis Vuitton’s creative director Nicholas Ghesquière.

In the background, we arranged the Obazine bookcase by Mayaro, a spectacular, handmade piece of furniture styled with some unique ceramics by Jean Roger – the go-to ceramist of Coco Chanel and Christian Dior. Yves Saint Laurent is present too in spirit, as the elegant Haricot table in the room is designed by Jérôme Faillant-Dumas, longtime collaborator of the late master.

The playful Polus chairs and the Eole floor lamp in plaster complete the set. These designs come from the latest collection of fashion crowd’s favorite Pierre Augustin Rose.

A selection of stools and lamps brightens up the graphic décor, adding a touch of colour thanks to the darling Dot stools by Reda Amalou, and a set of lamps by Studio KO, the brilliant architects who designed the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech.

Enjoy!
