Kubo Curated

Stories News Kubo Curated

Cushions: one can’t have too many! Lucky for us, we found the ultimate trove of cushion covers, all exquisitely made from materials that are sustainably and ethically sourced, designed by Kubo.

The brand’s name is a nod to its Filipino roots and specifically to ‘bahay kubo,’ which refers to a traditional nipa hut house—a completely green structure made from organic materials. The same applies to every Kubo piece, lovingly made by skilled artisans that respect local traditions and the environment.

These elegant cushion covers are made with T’nalak cloth, a specialty fabric made from 100% Abaca fibres, woven and considered sacred by the women of the T’boli tribe from Lake Sebu in the Philippines.

The collection comprises a wide array of hand-woven covers with amazingly beautiful weave patterns. Discover now our selection by Kubo.
