Career. Hubert Le Gall was born in 1961 in Lyon. Adored by Jacques Garcia, he decides to devote himself to art after boring finance studies. Designer, sculptor, scenographer and painter, his work is presented in major galleries around the world.
Signature. His vegetal inspirations embodied in the famous Daisy tables or Flower buffets have become classics of private and public collections. A bestiary will follow; bull-cabinet, heron-pedestal, sheep and rabbits… Hubert Le Gall is an ode to the heritage of Jean-Michel Frank, Jean Royère, André Dubreuil, Alberto Giacometti, Salvador Dali, playing with all materials: plaster, bronze, glass, resin, ceramic, fabric…
We love. The immense talent, the fantasy, the exquisite urbanity of this artist. The friendship between Hubert Le Gall and Isabelle Dubern, co-founder of the site with Anna Zaoui was born one evening during a dinner in Paros. From that evening at Hubert’s house was born a collaboration for Dior Maison, for which he has imagined an ultra poetic collection of trays, by reinterpreting the codes of the fashion house.
What’s up. Two years later, a collection of iconic chairs land smoothly on the site The Invisible Collection, after a very private launch in his studio in Montmartre, also know as the former studio of painter Pierre Bonnard. Multidisciplinary artist, Hubert Le Gall is a respected scenographer, notably at the Jacquemart André Museum, Musée Maillol or at the Musée d’Orsay as well as for luxury brands Hermès and Ruinart.
