Signature

His vegetal inspirations, best expressed in his famous Daisy tables or Flower buffets, have become a familiar presence in private and public collections. His modern take on the medieval bestiary: bull-cabinet, heron-pedestal, sheep and rabbits… Hubert Le Gall taps into the legacy of Jean-Michel Frank, Jean Royère, André Dubreuil, Alberto Giacometti, Salvador Dali and plays with most materials: plaster, bronze, glass, resin, ceramic, fabric…

We love

The immense talent, the fantasy, the exquisite urbanity of this artist. The friendship between Hubert Le Gall and Isabelle Dubern, co-founder of The Invisible Collection with Anna Zaoui, started one evening, over a dinner in Paros. That dinner-party at Hubert’s house was the beginning of many ventures, including a collaboration for Dior Maison, for which Hubert conceived an ultra-poetic collection of trays, by reinterpreting the brand codes. Two years later, a collection of iconic chairs gently landed on our platform, after a very private launch in his studio in Montmartre, formerly the studio of painter Pierre Bonnard. A multidisciplinary artist, Hubert Le Gall is also a sought-after set designer working for museums in the likes of Jacquemart André, Musée Maillol, Musée d’Orsay, as well as for luxury brands Hermès and Ruinart.

The Invisible Collection has the pleasure of presenting a selection of designs by Hubert Le Gall, available for purchase through us.
