The Ondulé mirror, with its undulated frame, is a delicate nod to Jean Royère’s unmistakable curved designs. The gracefully sinuous shape is a tour de force of skillful craftsmanship in woodworking techniques in order to perfectly bend the solid oak. The mirror comes in different sizes, and for each one, the carpenter needs to completely recalculate and readjust the sine function, in other words to rethink the whole undulation, thus making each Ondulé Mirror unique.
After 15 years as Art Director for Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, Jérôme Faillant-Dumas founded Love Editions, designing furniture and Interior Design projects for private clients, stores and restaurants. In parallel, he works on the branding of major luxury brands and is specialized in designing packaging for them. Jérôme Faillant-Dumas is renowned for walking the tight rope between classicism and modernity. His timelessly classic pieces have a taste of perfection, whilst remaining tantalisingly daring. Straw marquetry and alabaster alongside plaster and plexiglass. A strong, gentle and thoroughly Parisian modernity.
