The Echo Lamp was commissioned by Wallpaper magazine for its 2018 exhibition “Love” curated by Wallpaper Handmade in Milan. Brendan Ravenhill and Maison Intègre created this two-element sculptural lamp where light and bronze become the material embodiment of two people in love. The lamp speaks to our intimacy, its rounded shapes evoke the masks behind which we could have hidden ourselves but which, here, are willingly facing one another. Two rounded shapes, a light source and a reflector, seem to dance and embrace, symbolizing the idea that love is stronger when it shines on the other. Together, they become one and create a magnificent glow.
