Product Description

Knowing Thierry Lemaire’s work, you always expect strong lines, and a very architectural approach. The Hellmet side table brings out yet other qualities with its bold texture and the intriguing cylindrical shape. The original version in bronze comes in three finishes: all black, all gold and black exterior with gold interior. This contemporary piece definitely stands on its own and becomes the center of attention. More playful and versatile, the wood version in walnut, with a lacquered Securit glass top, is a more relaxed colorful piece of furniture, punctuating the decorative flow in the room.  Its punny title hints at a long gone past of men in armor wearing York Helmets…: is the living room the modern battlefield of the interior decorator?

Thierry Lemaire

Thierry Lemaire

In turn architect, interior designer and designer, this three-dimensional approach has opened up his horizons and enriched his palette to create his distinct style that today, draws him towards Interior and Furniture Design. Thierry Lemaire’s signature style is made of sculptural and oversized pieces, brilliantly luxurious, a sense of glamour pushed to the extreme and a vison of luxury that is ultra-comfortable in the spirit of the 1970’s. Spectacular, futuristic lines infuse spaces that blend ultra-modernity with classicism, and the angular with the curvaceous. He loves the effect of materials; marble’s power when used for a ‘total look’, the gleam of polished brass, the feel of wooden wall panelling, the omnipresence of mirrors that expand volumes and jumble perspectives.
